A global luxury fashion retailer is looking for an experience IT Team Lead to manage a team in the Shared Service Center for finance based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional Lead the SAP FICO team in the Shared Service Center Finance in Manchester
  • Act as Single Point of Contact for IT related issues in the Shared Service Center
  • Analyzing business requirements, elaborate solutions and accompany implementation of new processes
  • Applying relevant technology, process and application knowledge
  • Own and manage incidents and service requests to meet agreed resolution targets
  • Close cooperation with FICO business for requirement analysis, process design and -documentation as well as test and implementation of innovative and user-friendly solutions
  • Ensuring in collaboration with FICO business and other IT teams that necessary system & process changes are properly defined, aligned and implemented (specification, review, test and implementation)
  • Close cooperation with Development Team for application development.
  • Constantly increasing knowledge about FICO related processes and interfaces across all functions
  • Participate in assigned Global IT projects
  • Training preparation and execution including Key User training

Qualifications, skills and abilities:

  • 5+ years of hands on experience with SAP FICO or as a SAP FICO Key User with professional experience in an operational FICO area
  • Educated to university degree level in a business related subject (Business Administration, Economics) or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient usage of MS Office, Visio and Web Applications
  • Project Management knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
  • First experience in functional leading teams
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and cross functional team environment
  • Flexibility and improvisation skills to "make it happen", independent on the obstacles
  • Sound problem solving and organizational skills
  • Adaptable, flexible, analytical mind, Problem Solver and Team Player
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, proficiency in English, German skills are of advantage
  • Experience in the fashion industry is of advantage
  • Must be willing to travel as needed (average travel time can be 20%)
