Overview: My client a leading insurance company in Saudi Arabia are seeking a dynamic and skilled Investment Analyst to join their team. The primary focus of this role is to identify and scope potential new clients for strategic investment opportunities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the company’s investment portfolio and strengthening its position in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients in the insurance sector.
    • Analyze industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments to assess investment opportunities.
  2. Client Scoping:

    • Utilize financial models and analytical tools to evaluate potential clients’ financial health and investment potential.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information on potential clients’ business models, risk profiles, and growth prospects.
  3. Due Diligence:

    • Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential clients, including financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and industry benchmarking.
    • Evaluate the impact of geopolitical and economic factors on potential investments.
  4. Investment Proposal Development:

    • Develop compelling investment proposals and presentations to showcase the benefits of partnering with the insurance company.
    • Collaborate with the investment team to structure deals that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  5. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and concerns.
    • Act as a liaison between the investment team and clients, ensuring effective communication and addressing any inquiries.
  6. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and ensure that all investment activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (CFA, CAIA) preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Investment Analyst with a focus on client acquisition in the insurance sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian insurance market and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
