Our client is a leading provider of insurance solutions, specialising in both life and non-life insurance products. Partnered with Venquis, they are committed to driving digital transformation within the insurance sector, leveraging innovative technologies to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business growth.

We are currently seeking a talented Digitilisation Technical Project Manager to join our client’s dynamic team. Fluent German language skills are essential for effective communication with stakeholders and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of digitilisation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of digital technologies and their application within the insurance industry, including but not limited to AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud computing.
  • Drive innovation initiatives by identifying opportunities for digital transformation, conducting market research, and staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of digital applications and platforms, collaborating with IT teams to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to design, and launch new digital products and services, leveraging customer insights and feedback.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment of digitilisation initiatives with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalate issues as necessary, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement best practices for quality assurance and testing, ensuring that digital solutions meet or exceed performance, usability, and security standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, specifications, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within the insurance industry, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives.
  • Fluency in German and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in innovation management, application management, and new product development.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
