Job Description
For one of Venquis' clients, a global leader in providing Customer Centric Retail solutions to Retailers and Manufacturing clients, we are currently searching for a Senior/ Lead Analyst - Customer Insights (m/w).
The role:
- Analysis of client transaction data in order to contribute to strategic business decisions
- Development of analytical predictive models, analysis and tools in the existing Business Intelligence infrastructure, to aid decision-making in the areas of assortment, pricing as well as marketing
- Continuous development of customer segmentation
- Training and guidance of junior colleagues
- Controlling of external analysis providers regarding methodology and quality of results
Requirements:
- Degree in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Mathematics, Statistics or similar analytical field
- 1-3 years experience as an analyst, experience in the retail or consumer goods industry would be a bonus
- Solid experience in the analysis of big data sets as well as a highly analytical mindset
- Practical experience using tools such as SQL, Excel. Knowledge of SAS and R
- Business fluency in German and English
Bonus skills:
- Experience in Retail Marketing (preferably FMCG)
- Experience of segmentation and/or predictive modelling delivery to drive customer insight development
- Advanced statistics - using clustering, regression and other multivariate techniques
- Marketing qualifications, e.g. MBA, Loyalty Marketing, CRM, Customer Segmentations and Targeting
- Experience of the PAYBACK loyalty program
