Job Description

Our client is a global marketing services provider, specialised in the outsourced management and optimisation of corporate’s global marketing supply chains. For their Dusseldorf OR Munich office we are looking for an experienced Regional Director or Country Manager


The Role

The Regional Director is accountable for the strategic and day-to-day operational management of their area of business within client services. This role is responsible for ensuring that the accounts are run profitably, effectively, and meet all operational and business targets. Financially, the Director will be responsible for achieving the annual budgeted contribution targets ensuring the company achieve the annual organic growth target from existing and new clients in revenue. The successful candidate will lead a management team to deliver a market leading service to clients whilst leading the strategic development of services to optimise resource and cost efficiency. You will also lead and participate in business projects whilst successfully implementing new business and change initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees contracts, ensuring that the contract is managed in line with our contractual responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the clients; business and sector

  • Promotes internal client services

  • Maintains and nurtures relationships with day-to-day clients

  • Manages overall financial performance alongside the client-facing, procurement and business development teams

  • Reviews and assess business risks, taking necessary action to reduce such risks, while ensuring that these are communicated

  • Delivery of the operational and commercial strategy

  • Identify and nurture talent at all levels and support the personal development and progression of all direct reports

  • Collaborate effectively with other business and functional leaders influencing operating strategies

  • Develops strong relationships with senior key decision-makers in the Group

  • Assist in business planning to support growth

  • Sponsor new business leads

  • Assist in business planning to support growth




  • Demonstrable track record of running a successful business/ operation / account(s)

  • Ideally, previous experience working in print/ print management/ print buying/ marketing print procurement essential

  • Ideally, knowledgeable and experienced in procurement methods and tools

  • Strong client facing background

  • Prior involvement of working in complex as well as international matrix organisation

  • Experience of managing department financials

  • Experience of training and developing team
