- Liaising with the other Project Support Analysts to reinforce project processes and controls. Ensuring that project information in Clarity* is accurate, up to date and is suitable to be communicated to the Senior Management Team.
- Supporting a number of the Portfolio Leads with their Project related administrative needs. Activities will include setting up projects, reviewing and updating financial information together with reporting on the performance, progress, schedule and project costs. Assisting with project tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
- Managing the Delivery Team's monthly IT Financial Dashboard. Working with the Portfolio Leaders, Project Managers and Finance to provide narrative around the GDC Delivery team's budget. Presenting this to the GDC Delivery Management team
- Providing Portfolio and Project related reports as required.
The individual will be engaging with Portfolio Leaders, Project Managers, IT Services (Technical Resources), and the Management team on a daily basis. Strong communication skills are essential.
An understanding of basic financial accounting practices would be a bonus.
This role would suit an individual wishing to become a dedicated Project Support Analyst on Portfolio, and eventually a Project Manager.
*Clarity is the system used by the GDC, for managing and reporting on the status / finances of all Portfolios and Projects.
