Senior Project manager is required to lead the regulatory change portfolio of work facilitating and managing strategic business change across a wide range of projects and service offerings. Working within a small department, it is imperative that candidates are able to get involved with all aspects of Project Management. They will assist the Head of Change in overseeing the Project Office as far as regulatory projects are concerned and possess the necessary influential skills and diplomacy required to drive through change initiatives, ensuring business engagement throughout.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years proven experience of managing and contributing to the successful completion of business programmes / projects within a Financial Services environment (preferably within Private Banking &/or Investment Management). They also need to have previous experience of line management, ideally within a project office / programme management office.
Experience should have been gained within Project or Change Management functions, but candidates that have obtained the necessary experience through other functions such as operations, business management, operational risk or audit will also be considered.
This is an opportunty to join a growing and changing Private Bank / Wealth Manager who has a large chnage portfolio. You will initially be looking after the MIFID II programme of work and then moving onto other reg change projects. Successful candidates need to have managed projects in Asset or wealth management or a private bank domain. Experience of Reg chnage is also a must.
