Job Description

Role: Data Integration Solution Architect
Rate: £600 per day
Contract length: 6 months

One of my leading insurance clients are looking for an Integration Solution architect to help them on a large TOM project.

Your responsibilities-
*Acquire an overall view of Data Integration needs and opportunities across the programme and the London Market participants.
*Definition of a solution architecture for a Web API Gateway and involvement in any associated RFP
*Assist in the definition of a solution architecture for a master data platform
*Design the Public API foundation together from semantics, to mechanics, to schema (XSD, JSON), and to security, covering functional and non-functional areas.
*Extend the Public API foundation with a Master Data service capability.
*Architect, functional and non-functional design, and support implementation of a Web API Gateway to operationalise the Web API standards.
*Design test plans, supervise testing of Web API's. Map to the Public API standards.


Key Skills required-
*Key Architecture: Data and Integration
*Supporting Architecture; application, security, infrastructure.
*Technical; XML technologies, .Net, Azure, API/ETL/BPM platforms
*Public Interface Design; functional, technical, non-functional
*Data analysis and modelling techniques for service payload
*Cloud and Web/SOAP/REST API techniques and technologies
*Recommending solutions to meet design requirements and align to design principles.

Knowledge-
*Solid understanding of Application Architecture, Integration Architecture, and Data Architecture skills.
*Proven delivery of public or product Web API architecture and design
*Integration technologies and standards: SOAP, REST, Restful, HTTP, SAML, OATH2, ODATA
*Hands-on advanced schema design and build skills (eg XSD, XSLT, XPATH, Schematron, JSON, etc.)
*Prevailing architecture frameworks eg TOGAF,
*Previous SOA experience preferred.
*Previous commercial insurance preferred.
*Awareness of industry data standards (eg ACORD)
