Main purpose of the role

Working within the current programme to lead the transition planning and operational readiness activities in support of the DC Investment Platform Implementation. The main purpose of the role is to provide a consolidated approach to the transition of the investment solution platform to support DC scheme launch. The role will be responsible for the transition definition and delivery and working with existing teams in two locations in the UK and with external vendors to ensure there is a single, consistent transition strategy in place.

Responsible for co-ordination with internal and external workstream leads who will provide input to the overall approach, plans and execution of the transition and project reporting.

  • Project Management for DC Clients - Implementation and Corporate Actions
  • Asset restructures, Life-Style strategy changes and regulatory changes
  • Represent the Client at Sales pitches and Trustee meetings
  • Engage Administrators and Investment consultants to design solutions
  • Ongoing innovation to support Fidelity's growing DC Business Proposition
  • Manage a pipeline of projects to service 400+ DC clients with over $30bn of AUM

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition and operational readiness activities in support of the DC Investment Platform Implementation.
  • Definition of the transition strategy and delivery of transition activities and investment platform operational readiness.
  • Working with workstream leads in other internal locations and external vendors to provide input and a consolidated approach to the transition of the DC Investment Platform.
  • Programme level reporting internally, to governance bodies and external stakeholder groups e.g. Enterprise PMO and Group Exec.
  • Execution of controls and governance to support the transition lifecycle of the programme.
  • Maintenance of workstream plans and control processes, risks and issues.

The role will require the following skills

  • Strong depth of knowledge and experience of Asset Management and investor services. Ideally 10 years' experience in the Asset Management space
  • Working knowledge and experience of implementing outsourced fund services and operational readiness (at least 5 years' experience)
  • Proficiency in Programme/Project Lifecycles (e.g. Prince2 / PMI) (desirable)
  • Governance and process control (desirable)
  • Microsoft Office - Competent user for reporting purposes (essential), particularly MS Excel.
  • MS Project (desirable)
  • The use of MS SharePoint as a platform for content management and collaboration (desirable)
  • Risk and Issue Management (desirable)
  • Communication and Presentation skills (essential)
