Job Description

Pensions Business Analyst is required by a innovative Fintech firm based in Green Park (London). They are an independent investment firm providing custody, trading and asset management to financial intermediaries, institutional and private clients. They provide investment solutions to asset and wealth management firms across Europe.

They take a hands-on, long-term approach: enhancing the performance of businesses in the Group by providing patient capital and support to strong management teams. They apply fresh thinking and proven technology to optimise resources and offer strategic guidance on operational improvements.

The firm is focused on empowering private bankers, wealth managers and other financial advisers, to start and grow their own businesses by sharing the firm's technology, infrastructure and services.

Job Description:

BA specific to WRAP Platforms - experience of ISAs/SIPPS.

  • They have just acquired a SIPPS business and this individual will be tasked with getting the firm's platform ready to service that business line as well as developing it's new offering.
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge of WRAP systems and functionality in relation to Pensions - SIPPs.
  • Strong front to back - On-boarding to Investent accounting knowledge

The firm provides a collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment with a flat structure. The lack of red tape allows for quick decisions and quick solutions. Whilst all this is a positive, it requires an individual who is self-sufficient, Autonomous, has the ability to problem solve and prioritise their workload. Attitude to make things work is very important. They have to be able to manage current business engagements as well as looking at the future and juggle their workload accordingly. They are looking for employees who are driven by result (as opposed to a simple "bureaucratic" vision), are not afraid of working hard, are able to take ownership of projects without waiting for instructions/orders, who can figure out what needs to be done and how they can move forward without being handheld continuously (asking for help or explanations is alright), who derive satisfaction from doing a good work.
