Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

As the quality assurance specialist within the data and analytics center of excellence, you will ensure that all data-related deliverables meet the defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement QA processes/procedures
• Conduct tests of reports/dashboards to identify errors, inconsistencies, and other issues
• Identify/analyze defects and root causes
• Recommend corrective/preventive actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, incl. report developers, end users, and data analysts, to ensure that report quality standards are maintained
• Develop and maintain documentation of testing procedures and test results
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices related to the cloud data warehouse, ETL, and BI testing (automation, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or data management
• 3+ years of experience in testing and quality assurance, preferably in a data and analytics team
• Good understanding of data warehouse, business intelligence, and SQL
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and manual testing methods
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English, and German is a big advantage
