A confidential client in the aerospace and communications sector is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in SATCOM technologies. This position is based in the Greater Copenhagen area, with flexible working arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and capture system-level and customer requirements for complex avionics systems.

Support architectural development and allocate requirements across hardware and software components.

Plan and execute system-level integration, verification, and validation activities.

Utilize modern tools (e.g., Helix or similar) to manage requirements in alignment with structured development frameworks.

Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure cohesive system design.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure alignment with safety, performance, and reliability standards.

Prepare documentation and evidence in support of system approvals and certifications.

Liaise with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine system expectations.

Support internal reviews, proposals, and external audit processes related to certification and compliance.
Ideal Background:

Degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Software, or Computer Science).

Significant experience in SATCOM system engineering, particularly within the aviation or aerospace sectors.

Strong understanding of digital communication systems, protocols, and network infrastructure.

Familiar with certification processes and regulatory frameworks applicable to airborne systems.

Proficient in modern engineering tools and development methodologies.
