For one of our highly international clients within the energy / power grid sector in Munich we are currently searching for a Service Analytics & Quality Assurance Manager (m/f) with a background in electrical engineering.

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of grid fundamentals and operation
  • Basic knowledge of electricity market principles including capacity calculation methodologies
  • Strong understanding of power system grid modelling, data formats used and load-flow analysis
  • Experience in the TSO business, regional security coordination and cross-border capacity calculation is an advantage
  • A pro-active, stress resilient personality and a self-dependent working style
  • Dedication to quality and customer satisfaction
  • You are open-minded and willing to drive change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You feel comfortable in moderation of video conferences and resolving conflicts
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Visual basic and MS Excel programming skills are an advantage

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Supervise operation of our clients' 24/7 software platform that delivers security assessment and capacity calculation services to its customers
  • Organise and moderate video conferences during the daily process to prepare remedial actions
  • Organise and moderate weekly conference calls to align outage planning information between transmission system operators
  • Assist customers as first line support in case service or tool issues are observed and coordinate the solution process together with the software vendor
  • Support software development and testing
  • Assess the quality of services and deliver daily/weekly/monthly reports towards internal and external stakeholders
  • React on sudden issues and short-term customer requests to improve service and data quality
  • Perform data quality analysis and collaborate with team members to improve service quality
  • Provide feedback on business and IT developments to further extend service and tool portfolio
  • Actively participate in product trainings for customers
  • Collaborate with other regional security coordinators to improve efficiency and harmonisation of regional security coordination services
