The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly-motivated, experienced senior developer specialising in systems integration to join our core development team based in Bristol.
We are in the early stages of developing an integration capability founded upon service oriented architecture principles. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the early stages of development and to influence the direction of the integration platform going forward.

You will work with the lead architect in determining the technical design and direction of our integration solutions. You will operate within an empowered environment, leading by example and producing software that meets the needs of a fast paced and dynamic business Product owner.

Desirable technical skills and experience

  • Working knowledge of Integration Design Patterns
  • Working knowledge of API technologies and paradigms
  • Software development in Windows environments
  • Object oriented analysis/design and related patterns
  • Expert-level competency in C#
  • SQL Server 2005/2008/2014
  • Broad experience with .NET Framework 2.0-4.5
  • MVC and Web API
  • Dependency Injection
  • Reliable messaging - NServiceBus or similar
  • Understanding of asynchronous messaging
  • Data access using ADO.NET and LINQ
  • Relational Database Modelling and Design using SQL Server
  • Distributed software development
  • MS Test or similar unit test frameworks
  • Leadership throughout the software lifecycle
  • Analysing and fixing performance issues
