We are currently working with an award-winning and visionary global supplier of embedded and connected software products and services for the automotive industry. They are looking for Senior Security Expert with below experience:

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for design and architecture of security software components for high quality software in the automotive field
• You will specify and implement security software modules for automobile control units.
• You define and conduct tests to proof the security of the Linux OS
• You serve as an expert for all security related topics
• You work closely with the feature teams to cover security aspects of the features

Your profile

• You hold a University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or similar
• You have deep background in Cryptography, Security, Embedded Security, ideally in the automotive domain
• You have very deep understanding of Linux operating systems, security configuration and system hardening
• You gathered several years of practical experience in the software industry, especially with Security and Cryptography for embedded systems
• You have profound knowledge in security analysis methods
• You have good knowledge in security engineering
• You have several years of practical experience in POSIX compatible operating systems, e. g. Linux, QNX
• You have knowledge of programming in low-level area (kernel, drivers, libraries)
• You have an autonomous and self-reliant way of working
• You have an outgoing, self-confident personality and team player capabilities
• You enjoy working in an international environment across different locations
• You are willing to travel occasionally for personal meetings with various stakeholders
• You have good skills in English language
