As an IT Project Manager within our Life Science Consultancy Partner based in Copenhagen, you will be at the forefront of integrating technology and data solutions into the dynamic world of life sciences. You will lead and coordinate IT projects that support our clients in various aspects of their research, development, and commercialization efforts. Your role will involve collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions that meet the unique needs of our life science clients.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Strategy:
- Work closely with life science consultants, clients, and stakeholders to identify IT project requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Assess and allocate resources, both internal and external, required for successful project execution.
- Project Execution and Oversight:
- Lead and manage cross-functional IT project teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.
- Ensure the successful implementation of IT solutions by closely monitoring project progress and identifying and resolving potential roadblocks.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, while effectively communicating adjustments to relevant stakeholders.
- IT Solution Development and Integration:
- Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions tailored to the specific needs of life science clients.
- Collaborate with IT professionals, software developers, and data scientists to integrate cutting-edge technologies into life science workflows and processes.
- Ensure that IT solutions adhere to industry regulations, security standards, and best practices in the life science domain.
- Risk Management and Quality Control:
- Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that IT solutions meet the required standards and specifications.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique IT needs and providing valuable solutions that support their business objectives.
- Regularly communicate with clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and seeking feedback to enhance client satisfaction.
- Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, outlining project outcomes, achievements, and lessons learned for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the life science industry or consultancy setting.
- Strong understanding of life science processes, research, and development activities, enabling effective alignment of IT solutions with industry requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data management, software development, and IT infrastructure relevant to the life science domain.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and data security practices within the life science industry is a plus
