For an innovative IT client in central Munich, we are currently hiring for a Senior Data Science Platform engineer who will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making based on complex customer data. As a valued team member, you will contribute significantly to enhancing the efficiency and user-friendliness of the data science platform and establishing an environment that ensures the sustained quality of solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining ML(Ops) pipelines to support various stages, including experimentation, continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD), verification, validation, and monitoring of ML models during both development and production.
• Collaborating effectively with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and stakeholders to transition prototypes into fully functional data solutions.
• Advancing the data science tech stack to optimize convenience for data scientists and streamline operations.
• Establishing and promoting standards and best practices related to MLOps.
• Providing support for Data Science projects by conducting experiments and analyses.

Your Qualifications:

• Substantial professional experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or MLOps.
• A minimum of a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or economics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Git, and Docker.
• Experience deploying ML solutions in production environments, making data accessible, and maintaining a Data Science platform (cloud-based on AWS, Azure, DataRobot). Experience with AzureML is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of data science fundamentals, including models, methods, and workflows.
• Possessing a problem-solving, hands-on, and analytical mindset with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent English communication skills, with knowledge of German being a bonus.
