IT Operations Manager

Key Tasks & Duties

  • Oversee provision of end user support, including troubleshooting, problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Maintain applications through regular system management and upgrades.
  • Monitor application interfaces, exports and imports and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure cohesive and integrated IT support solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to set standards and guidelines.
  • Engage and manage BAU vendor relationships, ensuring the delivery of quality products and services.
  • Oversight of contracts, service level agreements and renewals.
  • Maintain adherence to IT operational controls including business continuity, disaster recovery, security standards and compliance reporting.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience with OpenTwins or equivalent Policy Administration System
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • 3-5 years experience in a technical support environment.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and break down silos.
  • Knowledge of reinsurance preferred.
  • Manager experience preferred.
