IT Operations Manager

36-40 hours per week

3 days per week in office, 2 days remote.

Role and responsibilities:

• Team of 40 people, 50% external 50% internal.
• Responsible for running all hosting department, company TBC – Say payment industry.
• Networking, data bases, VM ware, server platforms, Linux.
• Part of change of advisory board.
• Will be part of decision making, getting team together and fixing problems as well as this.
• Lots of IT change happening in organization.

Must have skillset/technologies 

• Able to work with big groups of people.
• Working with external parties.
• Technical skillset and strong understanding of VM ware, Linux infrastructure.
• Experience with Networking, data bases, VM ware, server platforms, Linux.
• Someone who is a manager from process level but also managing on tech knowledge perspective.
• Able to challenge business and team to speed up IT changes.
• Working as IT Ops Manager within Hosting specifically and with hosting platform.
• Knows about IT operations in 24/7 high importance IT environment. System is up and running constantly.
