For a leading automotive financial services company we are currently searching for an IT Application Manager!

The Munich-based IT team manages 4 main applications on a daily basis and is responsible for the seamless flow of data from sales, contract creation, payment and collections teams.

Tasks & responsibiltiies:

• Functional and technical support and further development of deployed applications
• Functional responsibility and administration of the business configuration in the IT systems
• Commissioning, coordination and agreement of necessary changes / projects with IT service providers in Germany and abroad
• Management, support and coordination of necessary release changes
• Responsibility for conducting regular service meetings with the various IT service providers
• Independent development / evaluation and prioritisation of IT requirements with regard to technical design, user handling, cost-effectiveness, system runtime and impact on organisational processes
• Independent and active coordination of IT requirements with all relevant and involved departments (Service Implementation Management)
• Application risk assessment
• Active participation and collaboration in projects with regard to functional integration of new applications / functions, migration of data

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, IT Management, Business Informatics or a comparable course of study or completed IT education combined with several years of professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in the field of IT Consultancy, Application Management, DevOps or similar
• Strong IT affinity and very good knowledge in: ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning), IT security, ICT methods and standards, office automation & MS Office packages
• Business management skills to responsibly manage budgets and prepare analyses
• Experience in defining, implementing and monitoring processes, ideally accompanied by experience in the financial services sector
• Project management experience or certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) would be advantageous
• Business fluent German and English language skills
