Job Title: Head of Product
Location: Hilversum
Overview:
My client is looking for an experienced Head of Product to lead the product management team and develop innovative products that meet the needs of our customers. The Head of Product will be responsible for the development and execution of the product strategy for the clients portfolio of products, including the creation of new products, enhancing existing products, and retiring underperforming products. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and executing product strategies for Dutch speaking companies and will be able to lead cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product strategy for the clients portfolio of products
- Lead the product management team in defining product requirements, user stories, and product roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver products on time and within budget
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities for new products
- Work closely with sales teams to identify customer needs and product opportunities
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on customer needs and business objectives
- Define product metrics and track product performance to ensure business goals are met
- Continuously assess market trends and competitive landscape to ensure product roadmap remains relevant
- Establish product management processes and best practices to improve product development efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in transportation or related industries
- Experience in leading product teams and developing product strategies
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of agile product development methodologies
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
