A luxury fashion company is looking for an Application and Integration Developer / Programmer / Engineer to join team working on several exciting projects from building apps to iPaaS implementation.
Complementing an existing team of three and reporting to the Head of Development and Architecture, the Application and Integration Developer will work on a variety of projects, with the expectation that they will perform in a dynamic way, adjusting to changing business requirements and be able to switch between skill sets with ease
The primary focus of 2019 is the implementation of an iPaaS which the candidate will be heavily involved with. This will require them to understand not only the implementation but to work with the Head of Development on rationalising and simplifying the integration strategy and approach to support the technology roadmap. The first use cases of the iPaaS will be EDI/Supplier Portal and Single Customer View
In parallel with the implementation of the iPaaS a multi month project to implement an Order Management System (OMS) will be running. The candidate will be involved at various stages of this project, from work to integrate OMS to new partners to assisting on removing existing functionality and integrations from the ERP.
There will always be a constant element of Datawarehouse work, particularly in assisting in the preparation and automation of data for a newly established Data Science function.
Technical Attributes must include the following:
Mdx / Dax / Tabular
Advanced T SQL/SSRS/SSIS
Json Scripting (e.g. Python)
Experience of iPaaS
Technical Attributes and skills the candidate ideally should have:
Continuous Integration and deployment experience
Non-Technical Attributes should include:
Understanding of a Retail/Wholesale business model
Agile development experience with Jira / Confluence / VSTS experience
Ability to lead smaller projects ensuring objectives and deliverables are met
Having good problem solving skills
Experience in understanding IT issue's within an entire business process, and the potential knock on effects.
Having a customer focused approach
Have the ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
To be able to work in a structure and analytical manner
Being commercially aware with the ability to influence at all levels
