What makes a natural leader?
Good interpersonal skills, social assertiveness and the confidence to draw people together, in order to motivate and inspire into action, are the basic skills and personality traits of a natural leader. The manner in which this person leads will be primarily influenced by character.
As a leader it is important to ensure that there are no discrepancies between the way you view yourself and the message of knowledge and experience that you share with your team of followers. Asking for performance feedback allows you to reevaluate your leadership style and to continue developing your skills and knowledge in order to make informed forwarding planning decisions. A good leader will also work on increasing personal awareness and positivity and removing their own barriers to great leadership – arrogance, stubbornness, disorganization and negativity.
